Meet some of our people
Fritz, Customer Manager
|
The requirements of our customers are very different. Therefore, the service business is always very interesting and I am still learning many things about it, although I have been working in this business since the middle of the 1990s. |
Leena, Assistant, Service
 |
I joined Foster Wheeler in 2004 as a service assistant. My main tasks in the commercial management are processing spare part offers, purchase orders from customers and to suppliers as well as controlling and coordination of deliveries and payments. My work is very diversified and interesting, and it is quite exciting being part of Foster Wheeler’s cleaner world mission. Especially the nice and collegial contact with each other guarantees that one is happy to come to work. |
Thomas, Site Supervisor
 |
I work as a site supervisor in our Service Department; I joined the company in April 2007. I am responsible for the planning and organization of the maintenance work, working out proposals as well as for the supervision at site during the entire execution time. I especially appreciate the face-to-face contact with our customers. The great atmosphere and good cooperation in the Foster Wheeler Service team is a great motivation and support for the daily requirements. |
Wladislaw, Engineering Manager
|
In 1871 an engineer song was written by Heinrich Seidel, it starts with the line: "Engineer's tasks are not too heavy: he laughs and says: If it is not working this way, than the other ". This I have followed since I have taken over the responsibilities as a service engineer at FW since 2011. I am responsible for the technical aspects during the entire duration of a project. This includes a review of technical inquiry documents, calculations and quotations, planning of new drawings or working on existing ones. As well as manufacturing support and preparing the final technical documentation.
I very appreciate the personal and familial communication within FW. |
